Combat Networks offers a vast array of services designed to encompass the entire lifecycle of the network & data communications infrastructure.

Combat Products

As in the above example, Combat Services are easily ordered using a tiered model so that Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and service call response times can be ordered "à la carte" to suit your specific requirements. The model comprises four tiers being:

Basic : offers exchange and replacement of defective equipment or dispatches a technician onsite with the equipment to install it, in a period of not more than 15 business days. This constitutes the basic Return to Depot or Best-effort & negotiated onsite maintenance contracts.

Basic+ : Accelerated Basic service that equates to "Next Business Week" or 5 day turn-around.

Enhanced : Ups the ante on the basic services offering by providing next business day turn-around times for covered equipment or parts of the network, excluding Combat Networks' holidays

Advanced :Provides same-day action times through a comprehensive 4-hour, 24x7x365 service level assurance including weekends and public holidays

Additionally, many of our hardware based coverage agreements include Combat Ready™ software subscription service for the covered items at no additional charge. The Combat Ready™ Basic agreement provides 24x7x365 access to Combat Services comprehensive library of binaries and documentation for the complete line of equipment that we service and support including prior versions should a customer find themselves needing to revert or rollback to a previous release of code. The optional Combat Ready™ Enhanced tier is available individually and adds telephone software support, bug tracking and installation assistance to the mix.

Combat Networks sells, markets and supports its customers via a readily identifiable branding scheme sold under the “Services” and “Products” divisions which are represented by a sash identifying the name of the Company Operating Division.

Maintenance, Warranty, Remote monitoring and other products are sold under the following names and generally map to meet or exceed existing OEM supplier maintenance SLAs. More Information about each of our service offerings can be found by clicking on the service name of interest.

Maintenance Services & Support

Combat Dispatch™: Onsite services that are packaged and sold in three tranches: BASIC, ENHANCED or ADVANCED. The levels vary from on-site negotiated best effort to next business day onsite to same-day 4-hour around-the-clock service.

Combat Supplant™: This service offering meets manufacturer requirements to provide basic warranty (return to depot) services, through to “advanced hot swap” or same-day cross-ship service. The most basic level is a 15-day RTD package.

Software Release Service (Subscription)

Combat Ready™: Our software distribution and release service. Available as BASIC and ENHANCED, the basic service gives customers access to the latest supported revisions and bug-fixes via the Combat Networks FTP and CRM sites. The Enhanced service provides automated notification and distribution of the latest software electronically using “push” technology and electronic mail distribution as well as providing telephone support for covered software products.

Preventative Maintenance

Combat Care™: A basic periodic preventative maintenance service that puts a technician onsite every three months to conduct an assessment of the covered site. Items requiring attention are noted to the customer and simple cleaning of fans, power supplies, intakes and cable management is provided as part of the contract.

Network Assessment & Site Survey

(can be ordered with or without VoIP and WLAN extensions)

Combat Complete™: A network health-check service designed to assess the suitability and operation of an existing network environment. The network infrastructure is subjected to a 25-point inspection in all facets of operation including validation of the existing revisions of software and hardware in the environment. The service is named “complete” as it then measures application response and makes recommendations that may improve average network and application response though better network design or reconfiguration.

Combat offers two extensions to this service in the form of a Voice over IP (VoIP) suitability assessment and a Wireless LAN (WLAN) site survey option.
