Account Manager, GTA, Ontario

Combat Networks is a full service provider and network integrator, specializing in comprehensive converged network solutions (Networking, WLAN, UC) for the full lifecycle of clients’ communication needs. Our professional services portfolio includes; business analysis, converged network assessment, design, implementation, project management, technical support, and operational management & support of complex network infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities: Account Manager

  • Manage and maintain existing client relationships of our large enterprise clients, in both private and MUSH sector public (Hospital, Education, Municipality)
  • Leading role in our team approach to pursuing new large enterprise accounts – private and MUSH public accounts
  • Position all Combat vendor solutions: Avaya, Aruba, Extreme, AVST, Nuance, Fortinet
  • Position Combat maintenance, monitoring and support programs to clients
  • Position Combat implementation services (PS) to clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendor account managers
  • Commitment to continuous learning and sales certification will be important
  • Great opportunity for an individual looking to transition from a Technical / SE role to a sales Account Management role

Candidates Should Possess:

  • Minimum 3 Years of experience in technology firm
  • Preference for 3 Years of sales experience
  • Degree from University or College
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Comfortable in making presentations to small groups
  • Team player with a demonstrable ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
  • Initiative and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of IP Networking, WLAN, and UC/CC solutions
  • Knowledge of Avaya solutions and business processes would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Extreme or Aruba solutions and business processes would be an asset
  • Interest to continually learn new technology
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel is essential
  • GTA Office is located in Stouffville, Ontario
  • Valid drivers license

Bookkeeper , Ottawa, Ontario

Department:  Finance & Accounting

Position Overview:

The Bookkeeper & Office Administrator is expected to have the excellent administrative and organizational skills and enjoy a variety of challenging projects and tasks. Should be detail-oriented, able to work independently on projects and take initiative to help the business succeed and grow. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to learn the in-house software. Excellent verbal and written skills, effective communicator with colleagues, suppliers, vendors, and existing clients.

Positive hard working type who prides on the organizational skills and follow through.

Responsibilities

  Responsibility Area #1 – Bookkeeper                                                                 % of Time: 80%      

  • Daily Bookkeeping
  • Managing Accounts Payable function
  • Assisting with the Accounts Receivable function as required
  • Manage Employee Expenses process
  • Performs various administrative tasks relating to the Finance & Accounting team as required

Responsibility Area #2 – Office Administration & Support                             % of Time: 20%

  • Assist with data processing
  • General Administrative Duties including filing and correspondence
  • Checking the accuracy and adjusting the basic information of the new and existing customers such as name, address and other contact detail
  • Developing and maintaining the Company’s electronic and hard copy filing system that is kept up to date and accurate

Perform other duties as assigned not otherwise captured in this position description.

Key Requirements

Education:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in related field

Experience:

  • Two years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping experience

Skills:

  • Knowledge of general business practice and the ability to react to various tasks as required throughout the day
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new software, CRM (Tigerpaw)
  • Takes initiative, works with minimal supervision either as a team or individually
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Results oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and react to tasks as they present them self
  • Ability to develop and maintain a professional rapport with clients, consultants and team members
  • Able to deal with situations and people ethically, honestly and with integrity
